Language Lessons
Recreate-U’s Language Lessons are open to adults or children and are delivered by specialised teachers. Our Recreate-U team has decades of teaching experience and we have taught abroad in many different countries such as France and China, making us the perfect choice for learning a new language!
Recreate-U can provide you with the exciting opportunity to learn a new language. We will take you on a journey of language ensuring that you develop from basic understanding through to competent use of the language through fun and accessible lessons.
Areas of learning
Recreate-U’s team of qualified, experienced teachers currently offer sessions for learning
French or
Mandarin.
Our language courses are a great way to pick up a useful new skill. At the moment, we offer beginner’s classes in six-week blocks. We also offer English conversation sessions and more formal classes for those learning English as a second language. If you want to learn another language which is not listed, let us know and we’ll see what we can do.

Taking up a language or craft as part of lifelong learning helps you feel a sense of achievement and gives you a chance to get to know new people - as well as just being fun.
Lessons will include:
- Speaking and listening including use of tones.
- Reading and writing (including use of pinyin and characters in Mandarin and genders, tenses and accents in French).
- Introduction to culture.
- Language exchange partnerships possible between children speaking EAL and children learning Mandarin or French.
Impact:
Participants will experience increased self-confidence and feelings of accomplishment as well as learning a brand new skill, being able to communicate in other languages.
