'Recreate-U’s Warrior Women’ a half day event celebrating women and their contribution to their communities. The event provided attendees opportunities to learn new skills, relax, network, and celebrate other women and themselves.

The full event ran 10:00am-4:00pm on Sunday 7th March in an on-line, interactive environment.

The ‘Recreate-U’s Warrior Women’ event consisted of different workshops and celebrations of women’s personal achievement.

Workshops:
  • Empowerment - strategies to feel more empowered.
  • Relaxation - a workshop teaching the CalmAdult tools and techniques.
  • Goal setting - practical support on how to set wellbeing goals
  • Poem/Spoken word recitals celebrating women - composed and recited by females of all ages who we work with from many different communities.
  • Support and opportunities (signposting to other services). 
and more. 
  • Plus event-goers received a Resource Bag helping to support wellbeing, and giving female led groups and social enterprises a way to connect with and support other women by offering samples of their products creating a cycle of support and celebration of women.
