Recreate‑U delivers high-impact, accessible programmes that support people to learn, connect and grow, improving wellbeing, building confidence and increasing opportunity through education, community connection and preventative support. 

Our model is intentionally flexible, combining one‑off activities, short programmes and open-access provision to maximise reach, remove barriers to participation and support people at different stages of their journey. 

Wider Reach & Community Impact 

These figures reflect tracked recent programme delivery only. 

Recreate‑U’s wider reach extends significantly beyond this and includes: 

• Thousands of people engaged through large-scale community events, including We Invented the Weekend 
• Open-access festivals and activities where participation is not formally recorded 
• School-based delivery, including assemblies and whole-group sessions 
• Digital engagement through video, social media and podcast content 

Through this broader work, Recreate‑U engages many thousands more people across communities 

Social Value 

Community-based wellbeing and preventative programmes are widely recognised to generate significant social and economic value. 

Recreate‑U generates an estimated £20–£40 of social value for every £1 invested (based on sector benchmarks) 

This reflects: 

• improved mental wellbeing 
• increased physical activity 
• reduced demand on health and support services 
• stronger community connection 
• early intervention and prevention 

We are continuing to strengthen our approach to measuring social value, including exploring recognised frameworks such as TOMs (Themes, Outcomes and Measures).
