LEARN
Best Start Sessions
Fun, interactive sessions helping parents prepare children for school, led by Early Years teachers, available in Salford, Bolton and Bury Family Hubs, schools and nurseries.
Learn Languages Together
Six-week course for parents of babies under 6 months who speak EAL, combining English language learning with early years development support and free meals.
5 Ways to Wellbeing
SEL programme for primary-aged children and parents together, building mental health, emotional regulation and family bonds through creative activities and flexible delivery formats.
Blossom
Outdoor therapeutic gardening programme for primary school children aged 4–11 with SEND or additional challenges, developing social and emotional skills across six allotment sessions.
School Holiday Clubs
Wellbeing-focused holiday clubs in Cadishead (SEND) and Little Hulton (ages 8–11) featuring gardening, arts, trips and outdoor play, with healthy lunch included.
CONNECT
Walk & Talk
Relaxed afternoon walks around Worsley and Monton green spaces, welcoming dogs and podcast guests, focused on fresh air, gentle exercise and friendly socialising.
Nature & Natter
Adult community gardening sessions at RHS Bridgewater, covering every stage of growing using organic techniques, with nature crafts, social connection and social prescribing referrals welcome.
Wellbeing Wednesdays
Family gardening sessions at RHS Bridgewater teaching adults and children organic growing techniques outdoors, supporting children's development and community connections among local families.
Relaxation Tuesdays
Monthly wellbeing sessions for women at RHS Bridgewater combining mindfulness, nature crafts, gentle movement and social connection in a safe, inclusive outdoor setting.
Meet Up Tuesdays
Fortnightly themed sessions at RHS Bridgewater blending gentle movement, nature-based creative activities and social connection through photography, bird watching, seasonal trails and arts.
Grow With ReCreate-U
Allotment sessions for adults with SEND, learning to grow food alongside creative activities and social time, supported by qualified wellbeing and inclusion specialists.
