Join Recreate-U for fun-filled holiday clubs where children can connect with nature, make new friends, and enjoy a wide range of exciting activities.
As education and wellbeing specialists, we understand the importance of helping children feel happy, confident, and connected to nature, to others, and to themselves.
What We Offer
Our holiday clubs are designed to keep children engaged, active, and supported during school holidays, while also promoting positive mental health and wellbeing.
Activities include:
- Gardening and growing
- Fun group games and team challenges
- Arts and crafts
- Board games and creative play
- Outdoor play and nature-based activities (weather permitting)
- Trips to local attractions such as RHS Bridgewater
- Special visitors, from rugby coaches and BMX teachers to seasonal stars like Santa and the Easter Bunny
All activities are rooted in our Recreate-U 5 Ways to Wellbeing, helping children to:
- Build confidence and self-esteem
- Develop social skills and friendships
- Learn simple ways to support their mental health and wellbeing
- Enjoy being active, creative, and connected
Healthy lunch and snacks are included in every session
Our holiday clubs create meaningful experiences where children can learn, grow, and build confidence through fun and connection.
We are a non-faith-based provider, and our sessions focus on:
- Fun
- Friendship
- Family
- Togetherness
Children of all backgrounds, faiths, and abilities are warmly welcome.
Recognised Impact
Recreate-U’s Holiday Club provision has been recognised for its strong focus on wellbeing, inclusion and engagement.
We were delighted to welcome representatives from the Department for Education to our Little Hulton programme, where they saw first-hand the positive impact of our work in supporting children’s wellbeing, confidence, and participation.

Our Locations
🌿 Cadishead (Allotment-Based Club)
Our Cadishead holiday club takes place on our allotment at Poorlots, offering a unique outdoor experience where children can:
- Learn how to grow and care for plants
- Explore nature and the environment
- Get creative using natural materials
- Enjoy calm, sensory outdoor spaces
This programme is specially designed for children with SEND ages 8-11, offering smaller groups and additional support in a nurturing environment.
🎨 Little Hulton (School-Based Club)
Our Little Hulton holiday club is open to all children aged 8–11 and takes place in a welcoming local primary school setting.
Children can:
- Take part in arts, crafts, and creative projects
- Join in talent shows and group activities
- Try new hobbies and build confidence in a safe, supportive space
